What?
This journal is designed around the childand is different to traditional activity books focusing meaningful, authentic experience and fitting curriculum elements into your experiences. I mean there is no better way to learn about a country than to visit it!
Who?
Where in the World has been designed for years plus, but that isn't to say younger individuals couldn't complete the activity book!
How?
The activity book begins before your holiday even starts, allowing your child to develop and use their research skills, to find out key information and facts, be it from books or the internet! Right through to coming home and reflecting on the time you had away! Wellbeing is the most important factor and the journal contains opportunities for your child to check in and share how they are feeling!

Before you go: packing, check in, flags, Research, World Map/Map of Europe (depending on your destination).
The Journey: Opportunities to doodle, check in, My senses, My journey in doodles, Writing.
At your Destination: Opprtunity to doodle, temperature (2 types of questions, depending on the age of your child), sketch, Science: natural and man-made, Food, Postcard, Draw a day.
Daily Check in: 7 days worth of check ins.
Games to Play: Word search, Create your own wordsearch, Would you rather, Guess the flag, 3 in a row, Dots and Squares, ABC... what can you see?
Additional pages in write and doodle.
Reflections and Memories: Create a timeline of your holiday/or a day on holiday, Favourite moments, places to stick tickets etc, Reflection page.

- The book is A5 so perfect to pop into your bag to go away.
- It is soft cover - card throughout so the pages can be recycled.
- Has colouring opportnities throughout - the book is mostly created with doodles.
